Ardus Medical Helps Local Family

Team volunteers time with Habitat for Humanity

Members of the Ardus Medical team volunteered their time for a local Habitat for Humanity project, repairing a house badly damaged by a fire that started in the basement and tore up to the second story.

The team's job at the house was demolition of the second story, which included ripping out of all plaster and wood slats so that new drywall could be hung. The Ardus employees worked side by side with the family that would be owning the revived home. "We enjoyed donating our time for a good cause, but quickly realized that it was extremely hard work," said one of the helpers.

Through the work of Habitat, thousands of low-income families have found new hope in the form of affordable housing. Churches, community groups, and others have joined together to successfully tackle a significant social problem -- decent housing for all.
